Service Description: This image service is a topography hillshade with three times vertical exaggeration derived from LiDAR bare earth points. The LiDAR data sources were seperate acquisitions from county LiDAR acquisitions for Lake and Cook counties. The hillshade was created from an elevation model developed by IDNR Water Resources. Water edge breaklines were not available from these acquisitions and as a result water bodies area not flat in the topography hillshade.
